About The Author

 LT Ladino

Former senior music executive turned philanthropist/entrepreneur,
LT Ladino, conceived To And Fro as a therapeutic and creative outlet to her hectic lifestyle. At a friend’s urging, several completed chapters were submitted to a publishing company and within weeks, she found herself under a deadline to complete twenty-one chapters in about 40 days.

However, being under pressure is nothing new to LT who
has worked as a senior level music industry executive for over 16 years having worked  at Jive Records, Arista Records, Columbia Records
and Sony Music Entertainment. She has assisted with marketing top multi-selling artists such as Sean "P-Diddy" Combs, R. Kelly, Usher, The Notorious B.I.G., Outkast, Monica, Wu-Tang Clan, Big Pun, Aaliyah, Next, Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince, Aretha Franklin and A Tribe Called Quest to name a few. As a marketing consultant, LT has successfully developed sweepstakes campaigns which integrated national retail, print, radio and Internet sweepstakes for Universal Studios 2004 Oscar awarding winning Ray and the 2002 blockbuster hit 8 Mile. “Though I have had the pleasure of working on great projects over the years, being able to create an entertainment property of my own is a thrill of a lifetime,” states Ladino.

“My optimum goal was to create a property that would entertain and enlighten,” Ladino mentions. She continues, “My love for studying both Jewish and Biblical spiritual principles and my personal growth prompted my desire to tell a story that would encourage readers to delve deeper into their own personal growing experience.” Her 214-page debut gives readers an opportunity to quickly experience Kelsey’s voyage and immediately discuss it.

Additionally, the book’s first run was released in partially edited form to invoke reader interactivity with a sweepstakes component which offered an opportunity for a reader to win $1,000.00 as an Honorary Editor for the book. “The partially edited version did not draw the reader away from the natural flow of the book. Rather, I believe that by giving readers an opportunity to participate in the creative process ultimately drew them closer to the character and into Kelsey's world,” Ladino concludes.

For over ten years, she has been an avid Bible and Torah studies student and teacher. Though she began penning the trilogy on the east coast, the Brazilian-Jewish and Black divorced mother of two, now resides in Northern California where she has recently finish penning, Wisdom Has Built Her House  and the screenplay for To And Fro: Kelsey's Journey.
